Ayala Corp. partners with UAE's Spinneys for PH supermarket launch

Ayala Corporation has partnered with UAE-based premium supermarket chain Spinneys to establish stores in the Philippines.

This collaboration aims to leverage Ayala Corp.'s local market knowledge and logistics with Spinneys' expertise in high-end food retail.

Ayala Corp. President and CEO Cezar P. Consing stated that the partnership is expected to boost trade and investment between the Philippines and the GCC.

Spinneys, part of the Al Seer Group, has a presence in over 20 countries and operates across various sectors.

The company views the Philippines as a market with substantial long-term growth potential due to its economic stability, increasing affluent population, and demand for premium products.

Spinneys CEO Sunil Kumar expressed excitement about entering a new region and noted the company's existing connection with the Filipino community in its current markets.
