Ateneo's Ken Batas to return for another UAAP season

Ateneo Blue Eagle Ken Batas, the first MVP from his team since Marck Espejo in 2018, is motivated to lead Ateneo to greater heights in the upcoming UAAP men's volleyball season.

Batas believes his MVP award is a testament to the team's effective system and sees significant potential for improvement, aiming for a strong comeback next season.

Despite graduating, Batas has decided to return for another season, driven by the desire to achieve personal and team goals he hasn't yet fulfilled in the UAAP.

Ateneo missed the Final Four for the third consecutive year with a 7-7 record, making Batas's return a pivotal factor in their bid to overcome this setback.

Batas, who accumulated 79.81 Statistical Points, was a standout performer, ranking second in total points, fourth in spiking and aces, fifth in reception, and eighth in digging during the elimination round.
