Ateneo students to hold academic strike on Nov 18

Students of Ateneo de Manila University are launching an academic strike on November 18 to protest the government's alleged negligence during recent typhoons and the pandemic.

The Philippines has been severely impacted by typhoons Quinta, Rolly, and Ulysses in recent weeks, resulting in numerous deaths, injuries, and extensive damage to property and agriculture.

Victims in areas like Cagayan province are still facing severe flooding and the challenges of rebuilding their lives.

The strike aims to pressure the government to act decisively in providing assistance to those affected by the disasters.
