Angie Mead King's luxury car catches fire on SLEX

Socialite and entrepreneur Angie Mead King's luxury sports car, an Acura NSX, caught fire on the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) shortly after exiting Biñan.

King shared on Instagram that she noticed the fire after another car honked at her and she saw flames in her rearview mirror, prompting her to pull over.

She mentioned the car began stuttering before the fire intensified.

King expressed her gratitude for the concern and well-wishes, assuring followers she is alive and her lungs feel fine.

She thanked a "good Samaritan" for picking her up and praised the swift response of the fire department, towing services, and SLEX police.

King noted that a fire extinguisher would not have been sufficient to put out the flames.
