Angeles City distributes over 70,000 food packs

The Angeles City government has distributed 70,705 food packs to 33 barangays for indigent families as of Monday, April 6.

Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr. ordered the preparation of an additional 100,000 food packs for continuous distribution.

The distribution is a continuous process to ensure no one suffers from hunger during the community quarantine.

Each food pack contains four kilos of rice and 10 canned goods, sufficient for a family of five for four days.

Mayor Lazatin expressed gratitude to the City Social Welfare and Development Office, City Engineer's Office, and Command Center-Barangay Outreach Worker for their continuous efforts in repacking and distributing the relief goods.

He also extended his thanks to all employees involved in the door-to-door delivery, acknowledging their round-the-clock dedication during the community quarantine.
