Andres Muhlach to play father Aga Muhlach's role in Bagets the Musical

Andres Muhlach is set to make his stage debut in 'Bagets the Musical,' portraying the role of Adie, famously played by his father, Aga Muhlach, in the original 1984 film.

He admitted there is pressure to perform his best and live up to the original movie, but he also sees it as an honor to play his father's role.

Andres joined his fellow castmates in a sneak peek of the production on November 14 at Newport World Resorts, where 'Bagets the Musical' will run this January.

He emphasized that the essence of 'Bagets' lies in the ensemble and the portrayal of the barkada's journey, which the cast aims to capture.

Andres shared that he and his fellow cast members are dedicated to delivering their best performance for the musical.

He recently watched the film again and realized it is almost a musical itself, given the numerous songs in the official soundtrack and sequences blocked as if on stage.
