Andi Manzano bids farewell to MTV channels

Andi Manzano expressed sadness over the impending shutdown of several MTV channels by the end of the year, reflecting on its significant impact on her life and career.

Manzano recalled the initial nervousness and demanding nature of her first hosting gig as an MTV VJ, a role she secured in 2007 after auditioning for the MTV VJ Hunt.

She highlighted how MTV opened doors, provided numerous learning experiences, and allowed her to meet artists and host for large audiences, even recalling memorizing and ad-libbing 15 pages for her first hosting stint.

More importantly, Manzano emphasized the unforgettable people behind the scenes who made her experience enjoyable, naming producers, cameramen, and other crew members.

Anne Curtis, a former host on MTV, reminisced about their shared experiences, calling their time on the network "nostalgic."
