Andanar ensures smooth PCOO transition to Cruz-Angeles

Communications Secretary Martin Andanar has instructed his transition team to ensure a seamless turnover of responsibilities to incoming press secretary Rose Beatrix "Trixie" Cruz-Angeles.

The Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) transition team, including Undersecretary Michel Kristian Ablan, will meet with Cruz-Angeles soon to discuss the transfer of power.

Andanar expressed his confidence in Cruz-Angeles's ability to handle challenges and lead the PCOO effectively, stating, "Si Atty. Trixie Angeles ay (is) very able."

He also mentioned that he is willing to offer advice to his successor if she seeks it, saying, "Kung meron siyang mga gustong itanong, kung meron siyang gustong ihinging mga advice, bukas naman ang ating telepono para tulungan."

Andanar hopes that Cruz-Angeles will continue his reform initiatives, including the establishment of media hubs and the Government Communications Academy.
