Akari clinches fifth win in PVL All-Filipino Conference

Akari secured its fifth victory in the PVL All-Filipino Conference by defeating Capital1 in straight sets with scores of 25-9, 25-17, and 26-24.

Key plays from Ivy Lacsina and Eli Soyud were crucial in Akari's comeback during the third set.

Lacsina led the Chargers with 15 points, all from attacks, and added four excellent receptions.

Soyud contributed 12 points, including kills, blocks, and an ace, while Faith Nisperos added eight points, including the game-winning hit.

Capital1, despite rallying in the third set and reaching set point at 24-22, was ultimately repulsed.

This win marked Akari's second consecutive victory, improving their record to 5-4.

Ced Domingo made her return from a knee injury for the Chargers.
