Aia de Leon, Barbie Almalbis, Kitchie Nadal hold online concert for music venue workers

Filipino artists Aia de Leon, Barbie Almalbis, and Kitchie Nadal are holding an online concert titled Secrets III: An Online Concert to raise funds for workers of live music venues affected by the enhanced community quarantine.

The virtual concert, a partnership with Gabi Na Naman (GNN) productions and Smirnoff Mule, will be streamed live on May 1 at 8 PM on the trio's official Facebook page.

The show will feature unique collaborations between the three singer-songwriters, along with solo performances of their popular songs and lesser-known tracks.

This initiative is part of the artists' broader efforts to support the music community impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and serves as a prelude to GNN's 5th anniversary.

Several independent music venues, including Route 196, Mow's, and Saguijo Café & Bar, are among the confirmed beneficiaries of the event.

According to GNN's Milley Habito, music venues are facing financial difficulties due to the temporary shutdown and inability to operate and generate income.
