All Filipino soldiers donate portion of salaries for coronavirus fight
All regular officers and enlisted personnel of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) will donate a portion of their base pay to support the government's COVID-19 response efforts.
The salary deduction will be taken from the May base pay of each AFP member, with the amount varying based on rank.
AFP Chief of Staff General Felimon Santos Jr. will contribute P10,484, while the lowest-ranking personnel will donate P100.
