Adamson, Ateneo face off for last Final Four spot

Adamson Soaring Falcons coach Nash Racela is urging his team to focus on their game and 'do our part' in their crucial do-or-die match against the Ateneo Blue Eagles for the last Season 86 Final Four ticket.

The Falcons secured their spot in this playoff by winning their last two matches, including a 63-61 victory over the UE Red Warriors, successfully avoiding elimination.

Ateneo, on the other hand, has been on a roller-coaster ride and dropped to this match after a 72-69 loss to the De La Salle Green Archers.

Both Adamson and Ateneo finished the elimination round with identical 7-7 records, splitting their head-to-head matches, with the Falcons having won their most recent encounter.

The winner will advance to face the top-seeded University of the Philippines, who holds a twice-to-beat advantage in the semifinals.

Racela emphasized the need for the Falcons to set aside recent controversies regarding officiating and maintain their composure against Ateneo, acknowledging their toughness.
