Actress Nana countersues intruder for attempted murder, aggravated bodily injury

South Korean actress Nana is facing a countersuit for attempted murder and aggravated bodily injury from a man accused of breaking into her home and attempting robbery.

The intruder, in his 30s, allegedly broke into Nana's residence, demanded money, and threatened her mother with a weapon, causing injuries.

Both Nana and her mother received hospital treatment after suffering serious injuries and losing consciousness.

Nana's agency, Sublime, is supporting her, reiterating its stance that the assailant was armed and inflicted severe harm.

Although the intruder initially confessed, he later changed his statement to deny possessing a weapon or injuring the victims.

Police had previously ruled Nana's actions as legitimate self-defense, stating the force used was not excessive.
