AC Bonifacio fractures arm in Thailand motorcycle accident, exits K-pop film project

Kapamilya star AC Bonifacio has stepped away from the K-pop thriller project "Perfect Girl" after sustaining a fractured humerus in a motorcycle accident in Thailand.

Bonifacio was in Bangkok for nearly a month, filming and rehearsing for the movie.

While on her day off, she fell from a motorcycle taxi, sustaining a fractured humerus that necessitated surgery.

She underwent surgery to secure steel plates in her fractured right arm, which doctors described as a 'clean' break.

Despite the injury, Bonifacio assured supporters that she is mentally and physically okay and requested support for her healing journey.

The accident prompted the production team to replace her in the project, and her role is set to be recast.

The film "Perfect Girl" revolves around a K-pop "super group" preparing for their debut and encountering a mysterious new girl, and also features Arden Cho, May Hong, and Nancy McDonie.
