ABS-CBN shows to air on TV5 starting Jan 24

ABS-CBN's popular shows "ASAP Natin 'To" and "FPJ: Da King" will now be simulcast on TV5 starting January 24, 2021.

"ASAP Natin 'To" will begin airing on TV5 at 12 noon on January 24.

"FPJ: Da King," featuring films of the late Fernando Poe Jr., will also premiere on January 24 and be broadcast every Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

This partnership between ABS-CBN, Cignal, TV5, and Brightlight Productions signifies increased cooperation within the entertainment industry.

Robert Galang, president of Cignal and TV5, stated that this collaboration heralds a new era of partnership and is a step towards the convergence of traditional and digital entertainment platforms.

The move follows the cancellation of TV5's previous Sunday variety show, "Sunday Noontime Live (SNL)," after a three-month run due to low viewership.
