New CIDG chief named
Brigadier General Christopher Abrahano, formerly the director of Police Regional Office 13 (PRO Caraga), has been appointed as the new Acting Director of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) of the Philippine National Police (PNP).

Colonel Rodelio Samson is set to take over Magistrado's former position as deputy director for administration at PRO 2.
The outgoing CIDG director, Brigadier General Romeo Juan Macapaz, has been appointed to lead the Police Regional Office 12 (Soccsksargen).
Macapaz had previously assumed the CIDG leadership in June following the promotion of Major General Nicolas Torre III to PNP chief.
Brigadier General Arnold Ardiente, the outgoing PRO 12 regional director, is designated as the new executive officer of the Area Police Command-Visayas.
