Aboitiz Foundation, partners donate 100 laptops for digital education

Aboitiz Foundation Inc., in partnership with Go Digital PH and Huawei Philippines, has donated 100 laptops to bolster digital education for underserved communities in the Philippines.

The "Laptops for Learning" turnover ceremony took place at Ayala Triangle Gardens.

The initiative is a component of the Aboitiz Foundation's Aurora PH program, which focuses on enhancing education quality through technology and training.

Aurora PH also includes campaigns to raise awareness and build skills for digital literacy, particularly in remote and economically disadvantaged areas.

DICT Secretary Henry Rhoel Aguda and Aboitiz Foundation President Ginggay Hontiveros-Malvar were present at the event.

Hontiveros-Malvar emphasized the critical need for equitable technology access in the Philippines for effective digital-age education, especially in public and remote schools.
