8 PVL teams tap foreign players for Reinforced Conference

Eight of the twelve Premier Volleyball League (PVL) teams have secured foreign players for the upcoming Reinforced Conference starting October 7.

PVL on Tour and Invitational champion PLDT has signed Russian outside hitter Anastasia Bavykina, who is expected to bring stability and experience.

Creamline, a powerhouse team, was the first to secure an import by signing American spiker Courtney Schwan, who previously played for the Orlando Valkyries in the US.

Cignal has recruited Greek outside hitter Eva Chantava, aiming for their first championship title.

Other teams have also signed international players, including Cuban Yunieska Batista for Chery Tiggo, Belgian Helene Rousseaux for Farm Fresh, American Anna DeBeer for ZUS Coffee, Spaniard Paola Martinez Vela for Nxled, and Montenegrin Jelena Cvijovic for Galeries Tower.
