8 players, including Brownlee, commit to Gilas for 2025 SEA Games

Eight players, including Justin Brownlee, Ange Kouame, Ray Parks, Matthew Wright, Dave Ildefonso, Jason Brickman, Veejay Pre, and Remy Martin, have committed to represent Gilas Pilipinas in the 2025 Southeast Asian Games in Thailand.

Coach Norman Black is leading the team with the goal of defending the country's title in the biennial meet scheduled for December 9-20.

Coach Black is looking for at least four more players, specifically big men from the UAAP, to complete the squad.

He has already spoken to these potential UAAP recruits, who have expressed willingness to play if given the opportunity, pending their schools' and the UAAP's approval.

PBA players are unlikely to join the SEA Games team due to a conflict with the Philippine Cup.

Brownlee, Kouame, Martin, and Brickman are considered naturalized players and can participate by presenting their Philippine passports.
