8 nabbed, P102K shabu seized in Kidapawan drug den raid

Anti-narcotics agents arrested eight individuals operating a drug den in Kidapawan City on Monday, October 27, confiscating P102,000 worth of shabu, a .45 caliber pistol, and explosives.

The group's leader, whose identity is withheld, initially resisted arrest but was eventually subdued by agents from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) 12 and local police.

All eight suspects are currently detained and will face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

The operation was a joint effort by PDEA 12, the Kidapawan City Police Office, and the Police Regional Office 12, following reports from local officials about facilitated pot sessions at the drug den located on Alim Street.

PDEA 12 Director Charlene Magdurulang expressed gratitude for the support from Kidapawan City officials and PRO-BAR Director Brig. Gen. Arnold Ardiente, which led to the successful raid and the shutdown of the drug den.
