77 delegates vie for Miss Grand International crown in Bangkok

The 13th edition of the Miss Grand International pageant will conclude tonight, October 18, in Bangkok, Thailand, with a record 77 delegates competing for the crown.

Filipino contender Emma Tiglao is aiming for a back-to-back victory for the Philippines, following last year's winner CJ Opiaza.

Tiglao has already secured a spot in the Top 10 for Miss Popular Vote and Top 20 for Best National Costume, and is currently leading in the 'Country's Power of the Year' online poll.

Reigning Miss Grand International, CJ Opiaza, a Filipina, impressed with her dancing skills during the opening performance, even executing a daring hanging stunt.

The winner will be crowned with the newly unveiled 'Unity Torch' crown.

The grand finale, which will feature a high-energy opening number and extensive LED stage design, will be streamed live worldwide on GrandTV starting at 8 PM in Manila.

The first cut will see 20 delegates advance to the semifinal round, which will also include the announcement of the 'Country's Power of the Year' winner.
