Six PH firms make it to Fortune's best companies in SE Asia list

Six Philippine companies were recognized in the first-ever Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For-Southeast Asia list.

The rankings were determined by employee feedback regarding trust, fairness, and purpose within their respective workplaces.

Among the recognized Philippine firms are Balibago Waterworks System at No. 24, Robinsons Hotels and Resorts at No. 35, and Universal Robina Corp. (URC) at No. 44.

Property developer Megaworld Corp. was the only Philippine real estate company included in the list, with its hospitality arm, Megaworld Hotels & Resorts, also cited for high satisfaction ratings.

Megaworld's inclusion was driven by its 'Great Place to Work' certification, where it generated a 94% employee approval rating.

These companies were evaluated using the Great Place to Work model, which focuses on employee trust, pride in their work, and positive relationships with colleagues.

To qualify, companies must be 'Great Place To Work-Certified' and employ at least 200 people in Southeast Asia.
