5.06M Covid-19 vaccine doses administered since Bayanihan Bakunahan 2

A total of 5.06 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines have been administered since the second leg of the Bayanihan Bakunahan national vaccination drive began on December 15.

Of the total administered doses, the majority were second doses, followed by first doses and booster shots.

Vaccination activities in several regions were postponed due to Typhoon Odette.

The DOH aims to vaccinate an additional 4.5 million Filipinos from December 20 to 22 to reach the target of 7 million individuals.

As of December 21, 45.2 million Filipinos have been fully vaccinated.

The NVOC has not received additional reports on vaccine wastage or problems apart from the previously reported 600 doses of Pfizer jab in Bingawan, Iloilo province which exceeded the 30 days storage.
