Half of voters picked 12 bets for May polls

Around 50 percent of Filipino registered voters have already chosen their 12 senatorial candidates for the upcoming May 2025 elections, according to a Pulse Asia survey.

The survey, conducted from January 18 to 25, indicates that majorities in the Visayas (64 percent) and Mindanao (72 percent), as well as Class E voters (52 percent), have a complete senatorial slate.

However, only about a third of voters in the rest of Luzon (33 percent) have a full list of 12 candidates.

On average, registered voters identified nine senatorial candidates they are inclined to support, with a median of 11.

Pulse Asia also noted that 14 out of the 66 senatorial candidates have a statistical chance of winning if the elections were held during the survey period, with Representative Tulfo topping the survey results.
