47% of Filipinos optimistic about quality of life in next 12 months

A Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey indicates that 47% of adult Filipinos are optimistic about their quality of life improving in the next 12 months.

The survey also found that 37% expect their lives to remain the same, while 5% believe their lives will worsen, and 11% did not provide an answer.

The net personal optimism score was +41, a slight increase from +40 in the April survey.

This rise in optimism is attributed to slight increases in the Visayas and Metro Manila, despite a slight decrease in Mindanao and a steady score in Balance Luzon.

Specifically, net personal optimism rose from +29 to +36 in the Visayas, and from +40 to +44 in Metro Manila.
