4 more OVP staff test positive for COVID-19

Four more staffers of Vice President Leni Robredo have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the total number of infected personnel in the Office of the Vice President (OVP) to eight.

Vice President Robredo confirmed that while she herself tested negative for the virus, four additional staff members were found to be ill.

Robredo stated that all infected staff are in good spirits and are not exhibiting severe symptoms, and assured them of the OVP's full support for them and their families.

The OVP will continue its work-from-home arrangement and intensify contact tracing measures to identify and treat all affected individuals.

The Vice President emphasized that all OVP personnel who contracted the virus did so while performing their duties and commended their courage.

She also reassured the public that the OVP's relief efforts for frontliners and the general public will continue despite the outbreak.
