36 partylist groups file candidacies for May 2022 polls

Ten partylist aspirants submitted their certificate of nomination and acceptance (CONA) for the May 2022 elections on Sunday, Oct. 3.

Among the early birds during the second day were APEC Partylist, PhilRECA, Recoboda, ABONO Partylist, 1-UTAP Partylist, and Voice Philippines Partylist.

The Manibela Partylist, Patrol Partylist, 1A SECAP Partylist, and One Party List also filed their CONAs.

Other partylist aspirants who filed were Ilocano Defenders INC Partylist, Parents Teachers Alliance Partylist, and 4Ps Partylist.

As of Sunday, there are a total of 36 partylist aspirants in the May 2022 polls.

The COC filing period will run until Oct. 8.
