The death toll from the southwest monsoon and tropical cyclones has reached 34, with only two fatalities confirmed by the NDRRMC and 32 still under validation.

A total of 1,857,171 families, equivalent to 6,670,506 individuals nationwide, were affected by the inclement weather.

As of Tuesday morning, 33,694 families are receiving assistance inside 1,199 evacuation centers, while 21,299 families are being aided elsewhere.

Infrastructure damage is estimated at over P7.3 billion, and agricultural losses were previously reported at P1.6 billion.
