3 PMA cadets complete ADFA training

Three cadets from the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) successfully completed their three-year academic and military training at the Australian Defense Force Academy (ADFA) on December 11, 2025.

Cadets Charles Wandag Cayangao, Nathanjan Barcelon Llasos, and Kyle Rondobio Lanza, all from the PMA Siklab-Laya Class of 2025, will serve in the Philippine Navy, Army, and Air Force, respectively.

Nathanjan Barcelon Llasos will continue his officer training for another eight months at the Royal Military College-Duntroon in Australia.

Charles Wandag Cayangao received the Best Performing ADFA International Trainee Officer in Fitness award and a Commanding Officer Military Commendation.

The training, which began in January 2023, strengthens defense ties between the Philippines and Australia.
