3 PCG personnel killed in Cebu earthquake rubble

Three Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) personnel perished when the San Remegio Sports Complex collapsed during a magnitude 6.9 earthquake in Cebu.

Seaman Second Class Lawrence Palomo, Apprentice Seaman Jujay Mahusay, and Apprentice Seaman Ert Cart Dacunes were on duty at the complex during the tremor.

They were rushed to Bogo General Hospital but were declared dead.

Additionally, firefighter FO2 Allier Vincent Catadman of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) was also killed in the collapse.

PCG Commandant Admiral Ronnie Gil Gavan expressed condolences and promised support to the families of the fallen PCG members.

The BFP also honored Catadman's service, bravery, and sacrifice, extending thoughts to his family.
