250 stakeholders attend PCSO Charity Summit

Over 250 stakeholders from government agencies, private institutions, and civil society groups gathered to support the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) programs at the 2025 Charity Summit.

PCSO General Manager Melquiades A. Robles emphasized that collaboration between government, institutions, and civil society is key to bringing charity and healthcare closer to Filipinos.

Robles stated that the PCSO's initiatives are guided by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s directive to strengthen and modernize the healthcare system, as mentioned in his State of the Nation Address.

Social Welfare Undersecretary Monina Josefina Romualdez highlighted how charity work creates "ripples of kindness" beyond direct beneficiaries.

Presidential Action Center head Ryan Joseph A. Sartre spoke about the moral obligation to engage in humanitarian programs and partnerships.
