200 young Filipino players vie in Cotabato City National Tennis meet

Around 200 young Filipino tennis players competed in the five-day Cotabato City National Tennis Championships held at the Cotabato City Sports Plaza.

The tournament, a Group 2 event sanctioned by Philta and presented by Dunlop, highlighted the increasing depth of junior tennis talent, particularly from South Cotabato.

Key contenders in the boys' 18-and-under division include Abdul Balt and Mohammad Aba-Conding, alongside Krelz Gecosala, Nor Ali Manangking, Amerhussen Basher, and Tom Songcayauon.

The event is part of a nationwide junior tennis circuit sponsored by Palawan Pawnshop, aimed at providing emerging players with ranking points and national exposure.
