20 nabbed, P225k shabu, 2 firearms seized in Central Luzon anti-drug ops

Police in Central Luzon arrested 20 individuals and confiscated over P225,000 worth of suspected shabu and two illegal firearms during anti-drug operations from September 13 to 14.

In Nueva Ecija, eight drug suspects were apprehended, with authorities confiscating 6.28 grams of suspected shabu valued at P42,704.

Bulacan police arrested 12 individuals and recovered more than P182,000 worth of suspected shabu along with two illegal firearms.

In San Jose del Monte City, two suspects were arrested and four sachets of suspected shabu estimated at P54,000 were seized.

One arrest in Marilao, Bulacan, resulted in the confiscation of suspected shabu valued at P34,000 and an unlicensed .38-caliber revolver with two live rounds of ammunition.

Separate drug operations in San Miguel, Bustos, Bocaue, Doña Remedios Trinidad, and Baliwag led to eight more arrests and the seizure of 25 sachets of shabu worth an estimated P94,920.

An additional arrest in Angat involved a man caught illegally selling an unlicensed .38-caliber revolver loaded with three bullets.

All arrested suspects and confiscated evidence are undergoing forensic examination, and charges are being prepared.
