2 doctors, 21 health workers quarantined after COVID-19 exposure in Kidapawan

Two doctors and 21 health personnel in Kidapawan City have been quarantined after exposure to an 84-year-old male COVID-19 patient.

The exposed medical workers are currently at the Kidapawan City Quarantine Center for 14 days, awaiting their RT-PCR test results.

The elderly patient underwent a checkup at a local hospital with shortness of breath and was later transferred to SPMC in Davao City where he tested positive for COVID-19.

A street in Estanol Subdivision has been placed under focused containment.

Seven of the patient's immediate family members are also under strict home quarantine.
