16 Filipinos make it to Forbes 2024 world's richest list

Sixteen Filipinos are on Forbes' 2024 list of the world's richest people, which features 2,781 names.

Real estate magnate Manuel Villar leads the Filipino billionaires, ranking 190th with a net worth of $11 billion.

Ports tycoon Enrique Razon is the second richest Filipino at 224th place with $10 billion, followed by food and beverage king Ramon Ang at 920th with $3.5 billion.

Other Filipino billionaires on the list include Hans Sy ($2.6 billion), Henry Sy Jr. ($2.5 billion), Herbert Sy ($2.5 billion), Lucio Tan ($2.5 billion), Harley Sy ($2.4 billion), Teresita Sy-Coson ($2.3 billion), Elizabeth Sy ($2.1 billion), Andrew Tan ($2 billion), Tony Tan Caktiong ($1.4 billion), Lance Gokongwei ($1.1 billion), William Belo ($1 billion), Lucio Co ($1.2 billion), and Susan Co ($1.1 billion).

The Sy siblings own the SM group of companies, while Lucio Tan is the founder of the LT group.
