PAOCC: Freeze assets, deport POGO workers in Porac
The Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) announced that 156 foreign nationals apprehended during a raid on a Pogo hub in Porac, Pampanga, will be deported.
PAOCC Chair Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin also ordered the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) to freeze the assets of the raided Lucky South 99 Pogo hub.
The raid was initiated following video evidence of torture victims within the Pogo facilities.
During the operation, authorities discovered illegal drugs and evidence of torture.
PAOCC spokesperson Winston Casio confirmed that they are proceeding with the summary deportation of all apprehended foreign nationals and will seek a preservation order for the property.
