141 Filipino athletes to compete in 2nd Asian Youth Games in Bahrain

A contingent of 141 Filipino athletes will represent the Philippines in the upcoming second Asian Youth Games (AYG) in Manama, Bahrain.

Jiu-jitsu will send the largest delegation with 17 athletes, followed closely by taekwondo with 16 and wrestling with 13 participants.

Other sports where the Philippines will be represented include volleyball, teqball, golf, triathlon, MMA, muay, athletics, boxing, cycling, weightlifting, table tennis, badminton, beach wrestling, aquatics, kurash, and pencak silat.
