105M vaccine doses administered nationwide

As of December 23, a total of 105,118,508 vaccine doses against COVID-19 have been administered nationwide, with over 46 million Filipinos fully vaccinated.

The country received 1,187,550 doses of government-procured Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine on December 23.

An additional 1,405,170 doses of government-procured Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine arrived on December 24.

The Philippines also received 1,531,000 doses of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine donated by the German government.

The Philippine FDA has approved the emergency use authorization for Pfizer-BioNTech's COVID-19 vaccine for ages 5 to 11 years old.

Despite challenges posed by Typhoon Odette, the government remains optimistic about achieving its target of fully inoculating at least 54 million Filipinos by year-end.
